The longest journey

I’ve recently completed one of my longest hiking treks in the Arctic region. On my last day, walking along the Abiskojåkka River, which plunges through Abisko National Park in spectacular cascades and pools, I reached Meditationsplats, where I came across a stone featuring a quote from Dag Hammarskjöld’s posthumous diary, Vägmärken.
